This is a master reference for all those who are organizing a rally. If there is something you feel is missing PM me with what is missing.

Physical Details:

1. Location

2. Date

3. Time

4. Permit

5 Permission if it's private property

Promotion:

1. Forums - posting the rally in as many forums as possible

2. Blog comments - comment with the link to the forum section here

3. Twitter - go to http://bit.ly and get the link shortened so it will fit comfortably in 140 characters, post away.

4. Facebook - post in the relevant groups and updating your status. Watch out for the link spamming though, FB will block you for it.

5. http://www.Meetup.com/ - find the Scifi and fantasy groups in your area, join, and pass the link around.

Material details:

1. Banner. Ideally every rally should have at least a 6-10 foot by 2-3 foot banner to let people know what is going on.

2. Pavillion/Canopies to provide a shaded area and a more comfortable area to do press interviews.

3. TV and DVD player to show the Save our Seeker videos

4. PC with internet access. Livestreaming the event on Ustream shows the world what's going on.

5. Plenty of trash cans and large trash bags. All rally sites should be in the same condition as we found them in when we are done.

6. Place to go to the bathroom, places that rent party tents should also have porta-potties.

7. Source of electricity, places that rent party tents might also rent generators for the day.

Press:

1. The rallies are there to attract attention, the press is our number 1 tool in the effort to Save our Seeker.

2. Newspapers - get the big newspapers in your area to cover the event.

3. TV - call the news shows and local morning shows and let them know what we are doing.

4. Vloggers - get as much footage of your rally on Youtube as possible.

Most importantly:
Have Fun!!!

The Buildasign one looks good. I like the editor, has full control, and the price is good. I'm not a big fan of Vistaprint, too many bad stories of them shipping people things and charging their credit cards spontaneously.
