The LA rally is currently focusing on the following:

1. Promotion - Always important, promotion is a constant effort.

2. Location and permit.

I am focusing on finding a suitable location clost to the Disney-ABC Networks' offices in Burbank, CA. I need a large enough location to hold the rally, once I get this I can apply for the permits necessary. Then I can formalize the Date, location and time.

Permits are a beast of a process, they need to know everything from how many people are going to be there, if cars are going to drive by with Seeker flags they want to see the proof of insurance for every vehicle and the route they are taking, the LAFD wants to inspect every structure beforehand, etc. Once I have a primary location and a secondary location I can apply for the permit.

I am hoping that the LAPD is still waiving the $300 fee for the permit, I won't know until I apply though. Keep your fingers crossed on this one.

Well, that makes the 3-page form and $100 that's required in Orlando look like child's play. Sounds like keeping it simple might be the way to go.
